The CEO of Mobarakeh Steel Company added in the closing ceremony of the 8th National Technology and Innovation Management Award of Iran: Managers are more and more faced with the acceptance or non-acceptance of innovation and the category of innovation should spread from top to bottom in the organization. It is mentioned in the book 10 Innovations that 90% of innovations usually fail and we must know how to deal with innovation, not accepting new plans and views and continuing the previous process are the challenges that will arise if managers do not change their view of technology.
According to Me-Metals, we at Mobarakeh Steel, while creating a culture regarding the need for innovation, started the next steps and adopted new methods in this field at Mobarakeh Steel. The first step after culturalization and changing the outlook was to set up the Mobarakeh Steel Technology and Innovation Support and Development Company to get rid of administrative bureaucracy in large companies like Mobarakeh Steel and with the mission of accelerating innovative plans to gain the necessary agility and be able to move in this space.
Moving towards open innovation is another action of Mobarakeh Steel in the field of technology development and innovation. By creating innovation centers in universities and creating offices in universities, we changed the previous trend that students and universities come to us, and we We went towards the elites, knowledge-based companies and scientific and research towns, and with the support of the country's innovation ecosystem, we achieved good results.
In the next stage, we realized the establishment of Mubarakeh Venture Investment Fund, which with the good support of the board of directors and the senior management group of the company, with a budget of one thousand billion tomans, we went in the direction that in less than 2 years, by examining more than 200 knowledge-based companies in 30 Knowledge-Based Company made a venture investment.
Managers must have a change of attitude towards innovation in order to be able to go through these steps, managers must bear the risk of failure and increase their patience regarding the burden of innovation. Production in 1401 more than 14 new products and last year we produced and presented 12 new products and this year we have the target of supplying 10 new products in the market and this is in addition to the measures that are being formed in the company.
Last year, Mobarakeh Steel was introduced as the largest non-oil exporter in the country and put the 914 MW combined cycle power plant into operation in less than 18 months. And in public relations, we showed that an Iranian can do whatever he wants and wants, God willing, all of us and you will want and want because we can.
