me-metals: Dr. Seyed Mostafa Feyz, CEO of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO), at the knowledge-based and domestic manufacturing headquarters meeting, emphasized that domestic manufacturing has a goal beyond providing the equipment needed by the copper industry and maintaining the production line, and said: "Enhancing the country's technological capacity is a major goal that we are pursuing through the localization approach."
According to me-metals cited from mes-press, Dr. Seyed Mostafa Faiz stated that the National Copper Company (NICICO) is always ready to interact and cooperate with groups that have technical capabilities in the field of industry and mining, adding: "Adhering to economic efficiency, construction time, and productivity in production are inevitable necessities in the localization process."
He emphasized: "In the localization process, products that are valuable to us are those that have the ability to compete with similar products in international markets."
It is worth mentioning that the mentioned meeting was held on Monday morning (June 9) in the presence of Engineer Gholamreza Shafei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO), along with a number of NICICO's managers and officials of the Academic Jihad (Jihad Daneshgahi) of Science and Industry (from Iran University of Science and Industry).
During the meeting, a report was presented on the capabilities and capacities of the Academic Jihad in the field of manufacturing specialized parts required by the National Copper Company (NICICO), including solar inverters, mega drives, electrofilters, pollution control systems, converters, and industrial rectifiers.
