Upward trend in production and extraction in the 4-month performance of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO)

me-metals: The 4-month performance of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) during 21 March 2025 to 21July 2025 shows that the company has been able to record significant growth in various mining and production sectors compared to the plan and the same period of last year.

According to me-metals cited by Mes Press, according to this report, the company's total extraction during this period has reached 113 million 724 thousand tons, which represents a 16 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.

Also, during the first 4 months of this year (ُ21 March-21 July 2025), sulfur ore production reached 22 million 168 thousand tons, which in addition to realizing 100% of this year's plan, shows a 16% growth in production compared to the same period of last year.

In the field of copper concentrate production, the total concentration plants of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) managed to record an unprecedented record of about 507,000 tons, which is a 13 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.

During this period, the valuable production of molybdenum concentrate was 4,152 tons, which, in addition to realizing 100% of this year's plan, also resulted in a 3% growth. The production of this product also shows a one percent increase compared to the same period of last year.

Also, during the first 4 months of this year (ُ21 March-21 July 2025), the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) produced 300 tons of precious metal concentrate, achieving 100% of the plan and 14% more production than the anticipated schedule.

According to this report, the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) has succeeded in producing about 84,000 tons copper cathode and 7,600 tons of wire, despite of energy imbalances and periodic overhauls.
