According to Me-Metals, Iran's steel producers created a situation where today we can claim that a country that was an importer of steel products until 8 years ago is now one of the global players in the steel industry and the quality of its products shines brightly.

Despite the sanctions of the last few years and gas and electricity restrictions, which are increasing year by year and are a threat to the steel industry, we still have the 10th place among the world's steel producers, and if the gas and electricity restrictions are removed, we will surely be among the top 6 or 7 countries. We will meet in the world.

At one time, there were only 4 state-owned steel producers in the country, who supplied all their needs from abroad, but today we are no longer needed to import steel and we see an improvement in domestic production compared to last year.

We do not lack anything for steel production and supply in global markets, but there are some internal restrictions and problems, including currency problems, which cannot be denied; In this exhibition, we are witnessing the display of machinery, equipment and even parts that were previously imported and today are produced in the country, and as this is developed, dependence on foreign countries will decrease.

There is not a week when we don't see the production of new products in mobarakeh steel or other industries, products that were imported before. It is necessary to review the working process of steel producers with the current conditions; We have iron ore, raw materials and energy, and we have created a capacity of 55 million tons, and today we have to plan in terms of quality in production and invest for this.
