20% progress of the 600 MW Mobarakeh Steel solar power plant/our priority is to finance the project

Me-Metals: Vice President of Investments and Affairs of Mobarakeh Steel said: The 600 MW power plant of Mobarakeh Steel has already progressed by more than 20%, fortunately, the infrastructure and the progress of the project have been completed well, and the conditions are now in place to speed up the installation of the power plant. And we hope that the first phase of the project, which is 20 megawatts, will be put into operation within the next month.

According to Me-Metals, Abbas Akbari Mohammadi, Vice President of Investment and Affairs of Mobarakeh Steel, on the sidelines of visiting the 600 megawatt solar power plant of Mobarakeh Steel, stated: This project is one of the largest solar power plants in Iran and the region.

He added: Mobarakeh Steel has decided to set up a clean fuel power plant, considering its need for energy and the production of green energy, which is one of the basic strategies of this company.

He stated that the 600 MW Mobarakeh Steel power plant has already progressed by more than 20%, and continued: Fortunately, the conditions, infrastructure, and progress of the project have been completed well, and the conditions for speeding up the installation of the power plant are now available, and we hope Within the next month, the first phase of the project, which is 20 megawatts, will be put into operation and put into operation.

The vice president of investment and affairs of Mobarakeh Steel stated that 120 megawatts of solar energy will be produced in this power plant by the end of this year, and said: This project will be fully operational by the end of 1404.

He considered the financing of the 600 MW Mobarakeh Steel solar power plant as one of the priorities of investing in this company and said: This project must continue without interruption so that we can use the power produced by the power plant at the appointed time.

Akbari mohammadi added: the 600 megawatt solar power plant of Mobarakeh steel will play an important role in providing energy in the central region of Iran, considering the type of power plant that is renewable, it will definitely provide a stable supply of electricity to the grid, as well as improve the atmospheric conditions and reduce pollutants in the central region of Iran. and we hope that by using this power plant in addition to providing green electricity, we will also create conditions for sustainable development in the region.

Referring to the impact of the operation of this power plant on the development of large and small scale solar power plants in Isfahan province and even the country, he stated:This power plant is large-scale, but from the point of view of forming a culture in the Iranian society as renewable electricity is definitely influential in cultural formation, I remember when the operation of this power plant started, there was a lot of resistance regarding the capacity of this power plant, which fortunately, with the progress of this project Resistances have turned into companions and a good culture has been created in the country for the development of renewable electricity.
