India: Medium Scale Re-rollers Observe Average Demand
SteelMint in recent conversation with medium scale rebar manufacturers learned that, demand has been average in major markets.
Meanwhile buying inquiries have been slightly less since couple of days, however participants are not looking major downfall in prices as stock levels has been maintained on average basis or certainly high due to adjusted production in West & Central regions.
Further remaining regions have slightly less utilization rate due to inadequate supply movement amid ongoing elections.
In addition, specified regions still have some backlog orders which suppose to get completed in near term and the factor could be well considered to prevent any major change in prices in most of locations along with sustained raw material prices, as per traders.
Trade Updates (Rebar 12 mm)
-- North region based Rathi Steels currently offers at around INR 39,100/MT, Ex-Delhi.
-- Central region, Raipur based - SPEED TMT prices unchanged at INR 36,100/MT.
-- Gujarat based, Mono Steel (India) Ltd. (Mono TMT) current offers at around INR 39,100/MT FoR.
-- Jalna based Kalika Steels Alloys Pvt. Ltd. (Kalika TMT) has unchanged their offers at INR 37,500/MT.
-- Jalna based SRJ Peety Steels Pvt Ltd (Shree Om TMT) has unchanged their offers at INR 37,700/MT.
-- Mahalaxmi TMT based in Wardha - Maharashtra is offering at INR 36,300/MT.
-- Chennai based ARS Steel (ARS 500 D) has unchanged their offers at INR 40,800/MT.
