The machine, with a mouth of 2.2 m width and an installed power of 600 kW, will allow the processing of the widest scrap range, including flattened and baled cars, for a productivity of about 30 tph expandable to over 60 tph.
Rotors will be equipped with manganese teeth to ensure high and continuous performance. The new pre-shredder will be supplied with a downstream Radial Stacking Conveyor to improve the scrap logistics, enhancing the optimal loading of the existing shredder.
The new pre-shredder will be put into operation by mid 2020.
