10% Growth in Trade With Indonesia

Iran traded 1.86 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $767.24 million with Indonesia during the 10 months of the current fiscal year (March 21, 2018-Jan. 20), registering a 5.3% and 10.28% rise in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year's corresponding period.

The data were published in the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration's latest report.

Iran’s exports to Indonesia stood at 1.72 million tons worth $643.51 million, up 18.57% and 37.86% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. 

Indonesia was Iran’s ninth export destination during the period.

Iran mainly exported non-alloy semi-finished iron/steel products, non-alloy iron/steel ingots and liquefied propane to Indonesia during the 10-month period.

Indonesia exported 133,841 tons of goods worth $123.72 million to Iran, down 56.92% and 45.95% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. 

Indonesia was the 26th exporter of goods to Iran over the 10 months.

The imports mainly included paperboard, aluminum oxide and coconut.
