Iron Ore Concentrate Output Increases
More than 2.4 million tons of iron ore concentrate were produced in the second Iranian month of Ordibehesht (April 20-May 20), indicating an 11% growth compared to last year’s corresponding period, according to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization.
Major producers were Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company accounting for 883,987 tons of the total; Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company 812,458 tons; Iran Central Iron Ore Company 319,320 tons; Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company 291,938 tons; and Sangan Iron Ore Complex 106,417 tons.
