Special Economic Zone Inaugurated in North Khorasan
North Khorasan Province’s first special economic zone was inaugurated in the city of Bojnord on Monday.
According to the CEO of North Khorasan Industrial Parks Company, Siyavash Vahdat, the company has invested some 80 billion rial (around $730,000) in the project so far.
"The SEZ needs an additional 250 billion rials (close to $2.3) for its infrastructure to be completed,” he was quoted by IRNA as saying.
Bojnord SEZ will cover 350 hectares when completed.
