Iron Ore Concentrate Production Rises 19%

Iron ore concentrate production of major Iranian mining companies in the first five month of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018) up 19 % year-on-year.

major Iranian mining companies produced 18,428,893 tons of iron Ore concentrates during this period. Gol_e_gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 6,615,332 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with3,728,047 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 2,261,006 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 2,097,184 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 1,830,049 tons and Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,187,544 tons.

Granulated iron ore output up 25%

Iran’s five major granulated iron ore production companies had a total production of 2,463,934 tons of granulated iron ore in the first five month of the current Iranian year, indicating a 25 percent growth YOY.

Sangan Iron Ore Complex was the largest producer with 1,021,260 tons followed by Iran Central Iron Ore Company with729,144 tons, Iran Central Plateau Iron Ore Company with 448,209 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 203,089 tons and Mishdovan Iron Ore Company with 62,232 tons.
