Refratechnik Ceramics GmbH, Germany (formerly BURTON), and HK-CERAM Kft., Hungary, are among the world’s leading companies for the design, development and manufacture of refractory products for the ceramics industry.
Both companies stand for innovative, high-quality refractory materials which already enable the global ceramics industry to meet the current challenges, such as energy efficiency, environmental protection and productivity.
In order to also meet the ever-increasing demands of the manufacturing ceramics industry for new innovative kiln furniture in future, Refratechnik and HK-CERAM have decided to pool their capacities in the area of research and development.
The objective of the cooperation of both F&E teams is for customers of the ceramics industry to jointly develop product types of the next generation, including, e.g., light resistant H-cassette types.
