BHP not fixated on copper growth organically or through acquisitions, exec says

According to me-metals cited from mining.com, “Growth is certainly a theme … we are certainly not fixated on internal or external growth,” Slattery responded to a question on whether BHP would like to make a renewed offer for London peer Anglo American, after its failed bid in May.

BHP, the world’s biggest miner, walked away from a $49 billion bid to acquire Anglo after it was rebuffed three times.
