Acquiring cutting-edge mining technology and indigenizing the technology is a priority, IMIDRO chairman Mohammad-Reza Movassaghinia, said.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of a visit to the second exclusive exhibition of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in Tehran.
“In this line, we will be able to take great steps to export technical and engineering services through attaining modern technologies and exporting the technologies to the Persian Gulf countries.”
The second EAEU exclusive exhibition is going to wrap up on December 7.
Iran and EAEU reached a preferential trade agreement in 2018 based on which about 862 commodity data-x-items are currently subject to preferential tariffs. The agreement came into effect on October 27, 2019.
