3 Goals of Oman Sea Water Transfer by IMIDRO Leadership
The project of Water transfer from Oman sea to Sistan and Baluchistan, South Khorasan and Razavi Khorasan provinces with three goals has entered the operational phase by IMIDRO’s Leadership.
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, water extraction and desalination for the final daily capacity of 2.4 million cubic meters of fresh water are among the goals of this project.
Meanwhile, supply and transfer of water with annual capacity of 280 million cubic meters to the three eastern provinces (in the first phase) is one of the goals of project.
Also, the construction of a combined cycle power plant with a capacity of 500×2MW, one unit for the first phase and the other one for the development phase is considered one of the main strategies of the project.
