According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, despite the power outages and declining production in some months, major Iranian steelmakers exported over 3,800,000 tons of steel products during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-September22, 2021), indicating 48 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
During the period under review, the export of Mobarakeh Steel Company and Khuzestan Steel Company increased 118 percent and 34 percent respectively.
Moreover, export of steel products in Isfahan Steel Company increased by %32, Iran Alloy Steel by 26% and Khorasan Steel Company by 164%, during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-September22, 2021).
Likewise, in this period, steel export of South Kaveh Steel Company, Bonab Steel Company and Kavir Steel Company grew by 27%, 25% and 39% respectively YOY.
