According to Iranian Steel Producers Association, the country has exported around 2.2 MnT of finished and semi-finished steel products in the first three months of Iranian year (March 21-June 20) to register a Y-o-Y decline of 12%.

Steel Authority of India - a government of India company has floated export tender for prime mild steel non-alloy concast billets. The tender quantity is reported to be 18,900 MT. The cargo will be shipped from Haldia port. The tender was put up for Prime Mild Steel Non-Alloy Concast billet, size 125*125 mm offered from Durgapur Steel plant.

Billet : Yesterday, the ex-factory price of general carbon square billet in Tangshan, Changli and Qian‘an was settled at RMB 3,650/MT, up RMB 10. Today, the steel market is weak, and the prices of finished products trend lower. Mill direct sales are insufficient. The ex-warehouse spot is around RMB 3,700/MT tax-included with a few transactions.

Out of 44,685 MT steel put up for auction, only 10,480 MT (23.45%) was sold. Bids for billets lowered by INR 100-200/MT against last auction. Bids for billets were reported at INR 27,300-27,650/MT (ex-Bhilai).
