Boost in Iron Ore Concentrate Output
More than 9.6 million tons of iron ore concentrate was produced during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 20) ), which indicates a 16% rise compared to same period last year, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company accounted for 2.4 million tons of the overall figure; Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company 3.5 million tons; Iran Central Iron Ore Company 1.2 million tons; Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company 1.1 million tons and Sangan Iron Ore Complex 410,000 tons.
