According to me-metals cited by Mes Press, during this field visit, the CEO was closely informed about the latest technical status of the project. Field surveys showed that parts of the project were facing technical and legal implementation bottlenecks and equipment procurement, and planning to resolve them has been put on the agenda so that the project's implementation operations can continue with greater speed and consistency.
The Sarcheshmeh Concentration Phases 3 and 4 megaproject, once operational, will produce approximately 700,000 tons of copper concentrate annually and will significantly increase the production capacity of the Sarcheshmeh complex.
By the completion of these two phases, Sarcheshmeh will become one of the largest concentrate production centers in the region, marking a significant leap in the country's copper value chain.
According to the report, removing technical and legal obstacles, securing equipment, and reducing bottlenecks will be the main focus of the project's implementation plans in the coming months. Synergy between specialized units and project contractors is also on the agenda to accelerate construction and commissioning operations.
It is worth noting that, while visiting the Sarcheshmeh concentration phase 3 and 4 construction project, Dr. Feyz also visited the new gyratory crusher project of the Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex with a capacity of 7,000 tons per hour.
