Major Iranian Steelmakers’ Export Volume Rises 22% in 8 Months
Major Iranian steelmakers exported nearly 5 million tons of crude steel and steel products during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year(March21-Nov21,2021), registering 22 percent rise YOY.
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, 14 major Iranian steelmakers exported 4,937,000 tons of steel products indicating a 22 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
During the eighth month of the Iranian calendar which known as Aban (October23-November21, 2021), Iranian steelmakers exported 684,000 tons of steel products, up 7% YOY.
Likewise, the export of Khuzestan Steel Company stood at 1.1 million tons (18 percent growth YOY), Mobarakeh Steel Company by 814,000 tons (20 percent growth YOY) and Isfahan Steel Company by 766,000 tons (19 percent growth YOY) stood at the second and third place respectively.
During the first eight months of the current Iranian year, South Kaveh Steel Company exported 574,000 tons of steel products, Hormozgan Steel Company by 367,000 tons and Saba Steel Company by 355,000 tons indicating 37%, 17% and 41% growth YOY, respectively.
