Transportation Inflation at 46.5%
The average annual Consumer Price Index for the transportation sector increased by 46.5% in the 12-month period ending April 19, which marks the end of the first month of the current Iranian year, compared to last year's corresponding period.
According to the Statistical Center of Iran, With a coefficient of 9.41%, the CPI stood at 242.9%, indicating a 1% increase compared with the month before. The transportation index registered a year-on-year increase of 47.4%.
