Unveiled at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the concept has been designed inside and out by Pininfarina.
The design has taken inspiration from high-performance car design and the “fluidity of Pininfarina’s iconic style", the builder said.
The superyacht has an 11-metre beam and draft of 2.2 metres that give the yacht an easy access to shallow and remote bays.
The total accommodation capacity of the yacht is for 12 guests in six cabins, including a large owner’s cabin at the bow. The crew quarters, on the other hand, consist of seven cabins for the captain and crew members.
The yacht also features a main staircase inspired by the air intakes of high-performance road vehicles which merges into the floor to ceiling windows, and two Jacuzzis at each end.
Speaking about the collaboration with Rossinavi, Pininfarina chairman Paolo Pininfarina said: “the two companies speak the same language and share the same passion and values.”
He also said, “Leveraging on this common background and vision, Pininfarina is in the best position to express its creativity, taking inspiration from our sports cars and translating their sleek and fast lines into the design the design of the super yacht.”
Super Sport 65 is equipped with four MTU 16V 2000 M96L 1939kW engines. It has a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots for a 4,000 nautical mile range.
