Chairman of the board of IMIDRO at the second MetalBulletin Iron and Steel Conference invited foreign investors to participate in Iran steel industry and use country’s potentials in order to develop steel industry sector.

Utilization of mineral resources and energy,high seas,educated human resource and high security of Iran are privileges of investment in output of mining industries products specially in steel sector, as the first speaker in MetalBulletin Iron and Steel Conference in Isfahan addressing directors of international firms in steel and dependent industries, Mehdi Karbasian said.
This event is being held by attendance of reputable firms and investors in Iran as a result of JCPOA and promotion of Iran’s position in region and world, Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade minister said.
Present conditions are results of government plans. In addition to our fulfillment to production and employment growth, investor companies will achieve mutual benefits by participation in Iran steel industry, he continued.
Chairman of the board of IMIDRO noted the prediction of production of 17 million tonnes steel in Iran during the current Iranian year (Mrach 2016 - March 2017) and said that achievement to production capacity of 55 million tonnes by 2025 is practical and conclusive. The mentioned above privileges beside high added value and promotion of productivity in Iran pave the way for achievement to this aim, Karbasian added.
Iran has 3 billion tonnes iron ore reserves. New exploration plan added 400 million tonnes to country’s iron ore reserves. About 250 million tonnes of these reserves belonged to Sangan region. By continuing exploration plan, we will introduce new iron ore reserves in large scales by next year, Chairman of the board of IMIDRO expressed.
