Exploration of 75 Promising Mineral Zones in Sangan

Exploration projects of IMIDRO in 12,000 square Kilometers of Sangan zone led to exploration of 75 promising mineral zones in this area, Head of investment and exploration department of IMIDRO, Ali Asgharzadeh announced.

Also, in these exploration projects in 50,000 square kilometers of mineral zones of Sistan and baluchestan province (Saravan, Nehbandan and border line of province), more than 140 mining indexes were explored, Asgharzadeh said.
Now,IMIDRO totally exploring 240,000 square kilometers with priority of poor area, especially eastern area of the country, he expressed.
After approval of Ministry of Mine, Trade and Industry, we will call for private sector to participate and invest in these projects, Asgharzadeh continued.
Totally will be invest 12,500 billion Rials in above mentioned mineral zones which IMIDRO will invest 5,500 billion Rials and after risk reduction and increase base information ,private sector will participate to invest in these projects .Private sector participation will accelerate mining explorations, he added.
