Turkey's Finish Steel exports down by around 14% M-o-M in Apr'19, as per fresh released data by custom department.

Finish Long Steel Exports by Turkey down in Apr'19 on monthly basis and registered at 0.69 MnT, down by 14.81% compared to 0.81 MnT in Mar'19, meanwhile on yearly basis exports marked stable as similar figures was recorded in Apr'18 at 0.69 MnT.

Factors could be attribute for measured finish long steel exports is improved construction activities amid inflow capital investment from one of the gulf countries to boost trade i.e. Kuwait.

Commodity wise- Rebar registered at 0.5 MnT in Apr'19, down by 18.03% against 0.61 MnT in Mar'19 followed by Structure (Angles & shapes) - 0.18 MnT which is moved up by 5.88% in Apr'19 against 0.17 MnT in Mar'19.

Wire Rod exports being declined by 33.33% to 0.02 MnT in Apr'19 as against 0.03 MnT in Mar'19.

Country wise- Israel stood as top Finish Long steel importer from Turkey with 0.11 MnT in Apr’19 which is moved up by 10% against 0.10 MnT in Mar'19 followed by Yemen 0.05 MnT (-58%) and Morocco 0.04 MnT (-20%).

Finish Flat Steel Exports - Country's Finish flat steel exports registered at 0.63 MnT in Apr'19 which is declined by 13.69% against 0.73 MnT in Mar'19.

On contrary, yearly basis exports stretched up by 43.18% to 0.63 MnT in Apr'19 in comparison to 0.44 MnT in Apr'18.
