India: Vizag Steel Invites Export Tender for 60,000 MT Billet and Bloom

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)- a state-owned steel maker under the Ministry of Steel, has invited a tender for export of 30,000 MT Billets and 30,000 MT Bloom.

Interested bidders can submit their bids till 13 May ‘19 at 15:00 hrs. As per the delivery schedule, the last date of delivery shall be 15 June ’19 on FoB basis to Nepal.

The bidders are requested to kindly consider port of loading as ‘Gangavaram port (GPL)’ only. The offer given by the bidder will remain valid until 20 May’19.

Due date (Indian Standard Time): The due date for bid submission is 13 May ’19 till 15:00 hrs.

Vizag Steel canceled last export tender - The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a state-owned steel maker under the Indian Steel Ministry had floated an export tender for 30,000 MT billets. The material offered was in 3 lots of 10,000 MT each of sizes 90*90mm,77*77mm and 65*65mm. The bid submission due date was 26 Apr’19 with offer validity till 03 May’19. The material shipment was scheduled to take place by 31 May’19.

According to market sources report to SteelMint, the tender was canceled due to low participation.
