Pellet Production Up 49 %
Major Iranian iron ore companies produced 26.7 million tonnes of pellets during the last Iranian year (ended March 20,2019), up 49 percent year-on-year.
Gol_e_gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 11,760,000 tonnes of the total output, followed by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 4,940,216 tonnes, Opal Parsian Sangan with 3,650,646 tonnes, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 3,557,079 tonnes and Sangan Steel Mining Industries Company with 2,866,000 tonnes.
Iran’s five major iron ore companies had a total production of 1,856,715 tonnes of pellets in the last month of the previous year known as Esfand (ended March20, 2019, registering a 24 percent rise YOY.
