Mineral Trade Registers $2.5b Surplus

Over $7 billion worth of mineral products were exported while related imports amounted to $4.44 billion in the last Iranian year (March 2015-16), announced Amir Sabbagh, an official with the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization.

According to Sabbagh, steel and its downstream sectors had the highest share in last year’s mineral trade, IMIDRO’s news portal reported.
