The Third International Exhibition of Transportation and Related Industries kicked off in Imam Khomeini (RA) Musalla this morning on Dec. 16 in the presence of Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami.

In this prestigious exhibition, a number of 200 domestic and foreign companies will showcase their latest achievements and products in the field of transportation and related industries to the public view.

Earlier in May, Iranian and Greek officials in a meeting in Tehran signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase mutual cooperation in area of transportation.

The 18-paragraph agreement was endorsed in a meeting between the high-ranking officials of both countries' road and transportation ministries.

The MoU will facilitate operations to transfer goods between the two countries and obviate any obstacles on this way.

During the meeting, the Iranian side proposed expansion of cooperation between other sectors related to transportation, including the ITS, training plans to boost safety of roads and exchange of experiences which was welcomed by the Greek officials.
