7 major Iranian steelmakers produced 9.4 million tons of steel ingots in the first six-month of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sep 22), indicating a 14% rise compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Likewise, during (Aug23-Sep22), marked as Shahrivar, 7 major Iranian steelmakers produced1.55 million tons of steel ingots to register a 6 percent growth compared with same time of the previous year.
Mobarakeh Steel Complex had the lion share with 4,744,759 tons followed by KSC with 1,909, 578 tons, Esfahan Steel Company with 1,123,846 tons, South Kaveh Steel Company with 479,137 tons, Khorasan Steel Company with 502,630 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex (saamen project) with 433,854 tons and Iran Alloy Steel Company with 210,976 tons.
9 Major Iranian steelmakers produced an aggregate of 5,643,934 tons of steel products in the first six-month to register an 8% growth YOY.
MSC had the biggest share of production with 3,433,271 tons, followed by ESCO with1, 079,897 tons, Oxin Steel Company with 370,101 tons, Khorasan Steel Company with 272,899 tons, Azarbaijan Steel Company with 146,170 tons, Iran Alloy Steel Company with 124,674 tons, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Automotive Sheet Company with 116,124 tons, Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe Mills Company (ARPCO) with 86,304 tons and INSIG with 14,494 tons.
Major Iranian mining companies produced a total of 11,276,598 tons of DRI in first six-month of the current Iranian year registering a 19% growth YOY.
