Steel Ingot Output Up 15% in Five Months

Steel ingot production of major Iranian steelmakers in the first five-month of the current Iranian year (March21, Aug22), indicating a 15% growth compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.

major Iranian steelmakers produced 7.85 million tons of Steel ingots in the first five-month of the current Iranian year (March 21-Aug 22), registering a 15% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period.

Likewise, during (July23-Aug22), marked as Mordad, major Iranian steelmakers produced1.56 million tons of Steel ingots to register 16 percent growth compared with same time of the previous year.

Mobarakeh Steel Complex had the largest share with 764,196 tons followed by KSC with312, 290 tons, Esfahan Steel Company with 191,497 tons, South Kaveh Steel Company with 92,351 tons, Khorasan Steel Company with 87,433 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex (saamen project) with 73,590 tons and Iran Alloy Steel Company with 43,046 tons.

 

Steel products output rises 8%

Major Iranian steelmakers produced a total of 4,634,952 tons of Steel products in the first five-month to register an 8% growth YOY.

MSC had the lion share of production with 2,837,122 tons, followed by ESCO with 611,073 tons, Oxin Steel Company with 307,759 tons, Khorasan Steel Company with 222,615 tons, Iran Alloy Steel Company with 98,489 tons, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Automotive Sheet Company with 90,955 tons, Azarbaijan Steel Company with 109,591 tons and INSIG with 3,394 tons.

Major Iranian mining companies produced an aggregate of 8,984,147 tons of DRI in first five-month of the current Iranian year registering a 14% rise YOY.
