Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said :
"I would like to thank Isa for his numerous contributions to Alba during his tenure with the Company. Isa is a great example of Alba’s objective to promote people from within the company. He started as an apprentice in 1983 and worked all the way up the ladder when he was promoted to the Executive Level in 2010. In his last role as the Chief Operations Officer, he played an instrumental role in the improvement in Safety and Production with Alba setting the all-time production record of 960,643 mt in 2015. Isa played a key role in training and development of Bahrainis and helped Alba achieve a Bahrainization level of 87%. We are very grateful to Isa for his dedicated service and we wish him all the best going forward.”
Mr. Ansari joined Alba in 1983 as an apprentice and served in key departments such as Operations, Human Resources, Maintenance Planning, IT, Procurement and Supply Chain.
In April 2010, Mr. Ansari was promoted to the executive position of Chief Supply Chain Officer, where he was in charge of all Strategic Supply Chain and Procurement functions. In January 2011, he was appointed acting Chief Operations Officer in addition to his role as Chief Supply Chain Officer. In June 2012, Isa Al Ansari was officially appointed as Alba’s Chief Operations Officer where he was responsible for significant increase in overall production levels and efficiencies.
Mr. Ansari led many employee training programmes which focused on the development of Bahraini nationals into management positions within Alba. He is also a key supporter of charity and humanitarian institutions, which contribute to the development of the society of Bahrain.
Mr. Al Ansari did his diploma in Electrical Engineering from Hindustan Academy of Engineering and Applied Sciences (India). He also holds a bachelor's degree with distinction in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle (UK) and most recently he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Hindustan University. He is also an active participant in the Bahrain Society of Engineers where he is a “Fellow” life member.
