TEDPIX Breaks Above 97,000

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 713.35 points or 0.74% to end Sunday trade at an all-time high of 97,529.4.

About 967 million shares valued at $60.29 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Kharg Petrochemical Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 21,005 rials per share.

Abadgaran Iran Tourism and Welfare Complexes incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.56% to 2,636 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tehran Oil Refinery and Isfahan Oil Refinery.

Telecommunications Company of Iran weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran and Kharazmi Investment Group.

The Price Index added 228.71 points to close at 31,258.7.

The First Market Index was up 574.28 points to post 69,830.9.

The Second Market Index scored 1,163.32 points to reach 204,767.3.

The Industry Index was up 694.39 points to register 85,056.9.

The Free Float Index gained 688.87 points to hit 105,731.86.

The TSE 30 gathered 42.18 points to settle at 4,291.6 and the TSE 50 gained 38.78 points to finish at 4,035.9.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX added 2.88 points or 0.26% to close Sunday trade at 1,095.42.

About 301.43 million securities valued at $28.31 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 84.39 million of its shares were traded.

Zagros Petrochemical Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $2.47 million.

Marjankar Company, Sabzevar Cement Company and Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company registered the highest value increase.

Esfahan Steel Company, Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company and Tuka Refractories Company suffered the biggest decline.

Persian Gulf Mining Industries Holding Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Iranol Oil Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
