Iron Ore Concentrate Output Up 28%

Major Iranian mining companies produced 12 million and 449 thousand and 804 tonnes of Iron Ore concentrate in the first four months of the current Iranian year(started march 21),up 28 percent year-on-year.

Gol Gohar mining company was ranked the first with 4 million and 462 thousand and 757 tonnes of Iron Ore concentrates output , it is followed by Chadormalu with 2million and 846thousand and 987 tonnes, Central Iron Ore company with one million and 565 thousand and 831 tonnes, Middle East Mine and Mining Industries Development Company with one million and 261 thousand and 213 tonnes, Gohar Zamin with one million and 410 thousand and 361 tonnes, Sangan Parsian Opal with 711 thousand and 715 tonnes and Sangan Iron Ore Complex with 190thousand and 940 tonnes.

Granulated Iron Ore Production

Based on the report, 6 major mining companies during the first four months of the current Iranian year produced one million and 876 thousand and 223 tonnes of granulated Iron Ore indicates 8 percent decrease compared with the corresponding period of the last year.

Central Iron Ore Company ranked first with production of 613 thousand and 500tonnes granulated Iron Ore. Jalal Abad Company and Iran Central Plateau with production of 357 thousand and 242 tonnes and 301 thousand and 854 tonnes ranked second and third place respectively.

Sangan, Chadormalu and Mishdowan produced 373 thousand and461 tonnes, 127 thousand and 940 tonnes and 102 thousand and 226 tonnes, respectively.
