US Steel to remain in America, form ‘partnership’ with Nippon, Trump says
me-metals: US President Donald Trump on Friday announced that US Steel and Japan’s Nippon Steel had agreed to form a “planned partnership” that meant the American steel company would remain in the country, headquartered in Pittsburgh.
According to me-metals cited from mining.com, “This will be a planned partnership between United States Steel and Nippon Steel, which will create at least 70,000 jobs, and add $14 billion to the US economy,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
