840km of highways to be inaugurated across Iran by late Mar. 2025
Some 840 kilometers of roads and highways are going to be inaugurated across Iran by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (late March 2025), the managing director of Iran's Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company (CDTIC) announced.
According to Kheirollah Khademi, there are about 400 kilometers of traffic bottlenecks along the country's highway network, which will be resolved with 70 trillion rials (about $140 million) of investment, Tasnim News Agency reported.
