Major Iranian Steelmakers’ Output Up 8 Percent in 5 Months on Year
Major Iranian steelmakers’ steel products output during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year rise 8 percent YOY.
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, during this 5-month period, Iranian steelmakers produced 6 million and 683 thousand tons of steel products (beam, coil, wide sheet, rebar, coated sheet, etc.,.) indicating an 8 percent increase compared with the corresponding period of last year.
Likewise, these companies generated 1 million and 172 thousand tons of steel products during the 5th month of the Iranian calendar year known as Mordad, registering 2 percent growth YOY.

Furthermore, major Iranian steelmakers produced 9 million and 668 thousand tons of steel ingots during the first five months of the current Iranian year, indicating 1 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
