All customs capacities to be used to materialize slogan of year: IRICA head
The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced the use of all customs capacities in order to realize the slogan of the current Iranian calendar year 1402 (began on March 21), which is “Inflation Control, Production Growth”.
Mohammad Rezvani-Far said IRICA, as an economic facilitator, an economic border guard , a driver of the development of foreign trade, and a supporter of the private sector in the development of production-oriented exports and imports, and in line with the realization of the slogan of the year entitled "Inflation Control, Production Growth" is trying to implement the reform document related to the customs sector by continuing its strategic planning in the new year according to the policies and instructions of the 13th government in the field of economic and customs affairs and the announced plans of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs.
The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration further underlined that in the past year, with the great efforts of the customs colleagues and measures taken, in total, drastic changes were made in reducing the time of conducting import and export customs formalities, which has led to the growth of foreign trade in 1401.
