Iran’s Semi-Finished Steel Export Climbs %18 in Q1
Iran’s semi-finished steel products export during the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year indicating an 18 percent growth YOY.
According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iranian steelmakers exported over 1,904,000 tons of semi-finished steel products during the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year(March21-June21,2022), registering 18 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
During the period under review, export of finished steel products stood at 873,000 tons to registered a 30 percent decrease YOY.
Likewise, Iranian steelmakers exported 96,000 tons of DRI during the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year(March21-June21,2022), down 70 percent YOY.
