Iran plans to export $3b of construction materials to Russia
Iran’s deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy said on Saturday that the country is planning to export construction materials worth $3 billion to Russia annually.
Iran’s northeastern province of North Khorasan can make use of the opportunity for exports, Mehdi Safari said in a meeting with Mohammadreza Hossein-Nejad, the governor general of the province, IRNA reported.
There are good capacities in the province for making construction materials, like cement, which should be used for fostering exports, Safari underlined.
North Khorasan shares joint border of 281km with Turkmenistan, which is located at southwest of Kazakhstan.
