"Unprecedented Mining Exploration in Iran"

”Recent mining explorations are unprecedented “, Hassan Rouhani announced at inauguration ceremony of Iran’s most advanced coal washing plant in Central Alborz region.

Hassan Rouhani during his visit to Mazandaran province stressed that conducted mining explorations in 11th Government in recent years are unprecedented.

He added that results of exploration of 250 thousand square kilometers and promising news and reports of mining sector will be announced soon.

Government’s attention to mining sector

Mining explorations in 11th Government are 2.5 times more than the last 90 years which is due to government’s attention to mining sector, President said.

Rouhani continued: “Central bank’s statistics for the last quarter of previous Iranian year (from 21 January 2107 to 20 March 2017) showed the growth of mining sector in GDP”.

It is expected that mining sector’s growth to rise in GDP during the final quarter and entire of the last Iranian year (March 2016 - March 2017).
