The third edition of an Iranian conference on Water Economics is to be hosted by the Center for Strategic Studies on Agriculture and Water affiliated to Iran Chamber of Commerce.
The biennial conference was slated for May 17-18 but it was postponed due to severe air pollution in Tehran. The due date for the conference will be announced subsequently.
The theme of the conference will be “Revealing the comprehensive effects of water on allocation and reallocation; the economic, environmental, social and political effects”
Iranian Ministries of Energy and Agriculture will also contribute to holding the online event.
Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, Vice-President on Economic Affairs Mohsen Rezaei, Minister of Agriculture Javad Sadatinejad, Energy Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian, and President of Iran Chamber of Commerce Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam Hossein Shafei are scheduled to give speeches at the conference.
