According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iran exported an aggregated of 42,214,000 tons of mining products during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-December21, 2021), registering 9.5 percent growth in weight compared with corresponding period of the last year.
Steel and steel products chain had the 55.6 % share of the total export value with over $5.28 billion.
During the mentioned period, steel and steel products chain export value witnessed 104 percent growth YOY.
During the period under review, the export of copper and downstream products with one billion and 409.71 million dollars and other mines and mining industries products with $ 651,330,000 stood at second and third ranks.
Iran’s Aluminum chain export value was $541,570,000 showing a 216 percent increase YOY.
Imports
ran imported 3.098 million tons of mine and mining industries products worth $ 2.691 billion during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-December21, 2021), indicating 0.8 % and 11.4 % rise compared with corresponding period of the last year.
Likewise, Steel and steel products chain has the lion share with $916.3 million.
