According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, 10 Major Iranian mining companies produced 25, 517,378 tons of iron ore concentrate during the first six-month period of the current Iranian year(March21- September22, 2021),registering a 3.6 percent rise YoY.
During the period under review, Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 8,384,471 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 6,161,108 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 2,799,276 tons,
Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 2,377,981 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 1,988,573 tons, Sanabad Development Company with1,128,495 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,219,595 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 610,286 tons Sangan Mining Industries
Company with 610,940 and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 236,653 tons.
Likewise, during the sixth month of current Iranian calendar year known as Shahrivar, these companies produced 4,322,088 tons of iron ore concentrate indicating 2 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the year before.
Production of Granulated Iron Ore Rises
During this period, major Iranian mining companies produced 701,872 tons of granulated Iron ore to register 9 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
Meanwhile, granulated Iron ore production of these companies during the sixth month of current Iranian calendar year known as Shahrivar stood at 158,054 tons registering a 53 percent rise YoY.
