Iron Ore Concentrate Production Passed 21.1MT in 5 Months

10 Major Iranian mining companies produced 21,195,290 tons of iron ore concentrate during the first five-month of the current Iranian year(March 21-Aug 22,2021), indicating 4 percent growth YoY.

according to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 7,220,739 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 5,128,679 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 2,258,977 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 1,960,511 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 1,647,164 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 891,989 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 932,481 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 492,526 tons Sangan Mining Industries Company with 456,400 and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 205,824 tons.

Production of Granulated Iron Ore Rises

During this period, Iran’s five major mining companies produced 543,819 tons of granulated Iron ore to register 1 percent growth compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
Meanwhile, granulated Iron ore production of these companies during the fifth month of current Iranian calendar year known as Mordad stood at 165,621 tons registering a 23 percent rise YoY.
