BOHAI TRIMET Automotive Holding GmbH produces high-quality aluminium die-cast components for vehicle manufacturing at its locations in Harzgerode and Sömmerda, as well as at a sister plant in Binzhou, China. Lightweight construction is becoming increasingly important for conventional and alternative drive systems used in the transport sector. In close cooperation with customers and research institutes, BOHAI TRIMET Automotive develops innovative materials and processing methods that allow new application areas for aluminium. BOHAI TRIMET Automotive supplies all well-known automobile manufacturers and suppliers with tailor-made solutions and lightweight components. With a total staff of around 1,000 employees, the company produces about 13 million customer-specific die cast and permanent mold cast aluminium parts annually. These include vehicle components such as chassis parts, engine blocks, structural parts, clutch and transmission cases, as well as battery compartments, oil pans and motor and gear brackets. In addition to casting, mechanical processing and surface finishing, the service range also includes the assembly of finished modules and the development and construction of tools.
