India: Odisha Govt to Conduct Pre-Bid Conference for Potential Bidders of Mine Auction
With reference to the “Invitation of bids for grant of Mining Lease for Iron Ore and Manganese Minerals” dated October 04, 2019 issued by the Government of Odisha, a Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted at 11:30 hours on November 04, 2019.
All the interested potential bidders may participate in the Pre-Bid Conference. A maximum of two representatives of each potential Bidder will be permitted to attend the conference.
Agenda of the meeting will be as follows:
a) Address by the Director of Mines, Steel and Mines Department.
b) Presentation on the auction process by SBICAP (Transaction Advisor).
c) Presentation/Demo of the e-auction platform by MSTC (Auction Platform Provider).
d) Open house session to address queries of potential bidders.
Odisha govt has invited bids for mine block auctions via three phases on 4th, 14 and 18 Oct'19. Apart from key iron ore mining leases expiring in 2020, few fresh mining leases Netrabandha Pahar, Chandiposhi & Purheibahal are also put up for auction.
