High-quality gasoline produced by the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) was put up for sale on August 1, when a cargo of 3,000 tons was sold for shipment to export markets.
The buyers can place their bids for the remaining 7,000 tonnes of gasoline in the IRENEX on Saturday.
The Iranian gasoline has been put up for sale at a base price of $581 a ton.
The minimum amount of petroleum available for international buyers is 100 tons, and the shipments would be delivered at the terminal of the Persian Gulf Star Refinery near Iran’s southern port city of Bandar Abbas.
In July 2018, Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said Iran would sell oil through stock exchange to counter the US sanctions on the country’s oil exports.
