3rd phase of reducing JCPOA commitments to be implemented: Zarif

“The third phase of reducing commitments within the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will be implemented in the current situation and only Iran has the right to decide on its implementation,” Zarif said.

The top diplomat added, “All members of the Joint Commission of JCPOA have come to consensus that US caused all the tensions and Iran’s demands have always been clear and its expectations haven’t been out of the deal’s framework”.

“We said if JCPOA wasn’t fully implemented by other sides, we would also implement it defectively. But all actions we took have been within the nuclear deal”.

Mentioning that some members of 1+4 are willing to prevent the third phase of decoding commitments, he said, “Deciding on the issue is up to Iran and the step will be taken if other sides of the JCPOA don’t fulfill their commitments”.
