Copper Cathode production Rises 15%
Copper cathode production of National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) reached 247,000 tons during last Iranian year (ended March 20,2019), indicating a 15 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
During the period under review, National Iranian Copper Industries Company’s Copper anode production stood at 313,000 tons, increased 21% YOY.
Meanwhile, during the last Iranian year, NICICO extracted 189,866,000 tons of Copper ore indicating 9% growth compared with the plan.
Likewise, NICICO extracted 53 million tons of sulfur ore during the mentioned period, registering a 5 percent rise compared with the plan.
